Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your SafeTracker account and the data associated with it. SafeTracker is operated by Phoenix Secure.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — Email us. Send a request to support@safetracker.in from the email on your account (or include your account username) with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and process the request.

Option 2 — Contact your GPS service provider / dealer. Your account is issued by the dealer who supplied your GPS device. You can ask them to close your account and remove your data.

What gets deleted

Your login account and account identifiers.
Your saved app preferences and settings.
Personal contact details held for your account.

What may be retained

Vehicle telemetry (historical GPS/trip data) that is tied to the physical GPS device and your service agreement may be retained for the period required to provide the service, for billing, or where retention is required by law. This data is linked to the device and the account holder of record rather than to the app login alone.
Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. for tax, security or dispute-resolution purposes).

Retained data is deleted or anonymised once the applicable retention period ends.

How long it takes

We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. We may contact you to confirm your identity or the vehicles associated with the account before proceeding.
